Hi, I’m Joseph! I’m a passionate dog lover here in Noe Valley (20+ years). I am a writer who works from home in a quiet, peaceful environment with an enclosed backyard, so your pup will enjoy plenty of comfy spaces to relax. I only care for one dog at a time, so your furry family member gets my full attention—just like they would at home. I am 5-Star Rated on Rover, completed my Doggy First Aid training and am a fully insured member of the Pet Sitters Associates.
Whether you’re heading to work, traveling, or just need a break, you can relax knowing your pup is safe, happy, and deeply cared for. No set check-in/check-out times — we plan everything around your schedule.
When your pup stays with me, they’re treated like family:
Full run of the house (yes, they’re welcome on the couch and bed)
You pup is welcome to stay a night, mult-nights, weeks and months
Regular walks and playtime in dog-friendly local parks and an extremely dog-friendly neighborhood
Sweet photo updates you’ll love
Nurturing care tailored for sensitive dogs
A fully enclosed backyard for outdoor time
I also provide the essentials: dog dishes, waste bags, a medium dog bed, and some toys—but feel free to bring your dog’s favorite items along for the stay.
I offer a free 30-minute meet & greet to make sure the vibe is right for you and your dog(s). Click here to email me your requested dates and I will follow up quickly with availability and a doggy intake form. If you prefer you can book through my Rover.com page* where I am a 5-star provider. "Joseph took excellent care of our anxious dog. I really appreciated his responsiveness and genuine care for our dog. Also appreciate his policy to only care for one dog at a time! Definitely would recommend ♥️"
— Kristina S.
"Joe watched our dog Pixel (a whippet) multiple times, including for weeks at a time. Sometimes I feel like he treats Pixel better than we do, giving him undivided attention. The biggest drawback: Pixel never wants to come home!"
— Kent W.
"Joseph watched our dog Winston and was thoughtful, patient and became one of his new best friends. He even bought special treats just for Winston! If you are looking for someone professional and trustworthy, I cannot recommend him more!"
— Norman P.
