Personalized dog sitting in Noe Valley.
Your pup stays in a quiet home with an enclosed backyard, plenty of attention, and a calm environment that feels like home. Because I work from home and care for one dog at a time, your dog receives individualized care, flexible scheduling, and the kind of attention they’d get with family.
I’m 5-star rated on Rover, trained in Doggy First Aid, and fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates. My focus is simple: calm, attentive, one-on-one care in a real home environment.
Whether your dog is staying for a night, a week, or longer, they’ll enjoy:
Full run of the house, including couch and bed privileges
Neighborhood walks, sniffing, and outdoor time in Noe Valley
Safe outdoor time in my enclosed backyard
Sweet photo updates
Gentle, nurturing care for shy or sensitive dogs
I also provide the essentials: dog dishes, waste bags, toys, and a medium dog bed. You’re always welcome to bring your dog’s favorite treats, bed, or toys to help them feel even more at home.

Is WOOF! a Good Fit?
WOOF! is best suited for dogs who enjoy a quieter home, personal attention, neighborhood walks, couch time, and a calm, cozy environment.
Because I care for one dog at a time, I’m especially well suited for dogs who may not thrive in large group boarding settings.
Shy, sensitive, older, or easygoing dogs
Dogs who enjoy companionship and routine
Dogs who do best with one-on-one attention
Owners who appreciate photo updates and clear communication
For everyone’s safety and comfort, I always start with a free meet & greet before confirming a new stay.
The goal is simple: your dog feels safe, settled, and loved while you’re away.
Meet Joe
I’m Joe, the person behind WOOF! Dogsitting. I’ve lived in Noe Valley for more than 20 years and created WOOF! to offer dogs the kind of care I would want for my own: calm, attentive, personal, and genuinely affectionate.
I’m self-employed and work from my Noe Valley home, which gives me the flexibility to be present with each guest throughout the day. Because I host only one dog at a time, I’m able to learn each dog’s routines, quirks, comforts, and favorite ways to spend the day. Some guests want long neighborhood walks and playtime. Others are happiest curled up beside me on the couch. I meet them where they are.
I’m fully insured, trained in Doggy First Aid, and 5-star rated on Rover. More importantly, I take the responsibility seriously. My goal is for you to travel without worrying—and for your dog to feel safe, settled, and loved while you’re away.
Expect thoughtful updates, plenty of affection, and probably more photos of your dog than you requested.

Happy Clients
"Joseph took excellent care of our anxious dog. I really appreciated his responsiveness and genuine care for our dog. Also appreciate his policy to only care for one dog at a time! Definitely would recommend ♥️"
— Kristina S.
"Joe watched our dog Pixel (a whippet) multiple times, including for weeks at a time. Sometimes I feel like he treats Pixel better than we do, giving him undivided attention. The biggest drawback: Pixel never wants to come home!"
— Kent W.
"Joseph watched our dog Winston and was thoughtful, patient and became one of his best friends. He bought special treats just for him! If you are looking for someone professional and trustworthy, I cannot recommend him more!"
