MycoWorks: Employer Brand

Bringing the MycoWorks
employee experience to life
during a period of rapid growth.

As MycoWorks prepared to double in size, the company needed a careers page that could support a major recruiting effort while staying true to its culture. The goal was to create a clearer, more human picture of what it feels like to work there—using employee stories and the company’s employee value proposition to bring the culture to life for future candidates.

The Challenge

As MycoWorks prepared to double in size, the company needed a careers experience that could support a major recruiting effort while staying true to its culture. The page needed to show what it actually felt like to work there—capturing the mission, values, and employee experience in a way that would resonate with future candidates.

Because MycoWorks is such a mission-driven company, the careers page also needed to bring its employee value proposition to life through real stories and authentic voices rather than corporate language.

What I Did

  • Developed the strategy and structure for the Life at MycoWorks careers page

  • Built the page around the company’s employee value proposition

  • Streamlined and clarified the company values to create a more consistent employee and candidate experience

  • Gathered and shaped first-hand employee stories and testimonials

  • Created messaging that translated the culture into a clearer and more compelling candidate experience

  • Developed a communications plan to support the company’s rapid expansion and hiring growth

  • Helped create a more human, authentic view of what it is like to work at MycoWorks

The final work gave MycoWorks a clearer and more compelling way to communicate its culture at a pivotal moment—helping support a large-scale hiring effort while staying true to what made the company distinctive.
