Accenture: New Joiner Program

Helping new employees
navigate and thrive
inside a complex organization.

Accenture Digital needed a more engaging and effective onboarding experience for new employees. The goal was to reduce early attrition, help people understand how to succeed inside a highly matrixed organization, and create a clearer sense of what was expected in the first weeks and months on the job.

The Challenge

New hires were joining Accenture Digital full of excitement, but many struggled to understand how the organization worked, where to find information, and what success looked like. In a large and highly matrixed environment, it was easy for people to feel overwhelmed or disconnected in the first 30 days.

The challenge was to create an onboarding experience that could reduce early attrition, help employees understand how to navigate the organization, and build confidence from day one.

What I Did

  • Developed a comprehensive onboarding strategy for Accenture Digital new hires

  • Created a 15-episode interactive video series introducing new employees to the organization, culture, and expectations

  • Produced the “Create Your World” onboarding video series to help employees understand how to navigate the organization and succeed inside a highly matrixed environment

  • Developed the “Future Me” video experience to support career growth, professional development, and local connections

  • Designed and built the Accenture Digital New-Hire Hub, a one-stop intranet with resources, tools, and guidance for navigating the organization

  • Created messaging and content that clarified what success looked like in the first 30, 60, and 90 days

  • Built a more connected and supportive onboarding experience that reinforced Accenture Digital’s values and culture

The final program gave new employees a clearer path into the organization—helping them understand what was expected, where to go for support, and how to succeed from the moment they joined.
